"Śmieszy cię to?" to nawiązujący do klasyki gatunku – brytyjskiej farsy opartej o serię nieporozumień - portret rodzinny Jonesów. Stanley, Mira, Paul i Caroline od lat z coraz większym trudem wytrzymują ze sobą pod jednym dachem. Rodzinne podobieństwo sprawia jednak, że szukają podobnych rozwiązań – każde z nich postanawia uciec od pozostałej trójki… w to samo miejsce: do hotelu Better, którego doskonała obsługa przez niemożliwą do wytłumaczenia pomyłkę umieszcza całą rodzinę w jednym pokoju.

Na co liczą nasi bohaterowie szukając azylu w hotelu? Jak gapowaty personel wybrnie z kłopotów, jakie na siebie ściągnął? Czy seria zwariowanych perypetii pozwoli bohaterom uniknąć niechcianego spotkania? Jakie sekrety skrywa przed sobą nawzajem rodzina Jonesów?

Czy istnieje sposób, żeby przerwać ten niekończący się ciąg gagów, pomyłek, nieporozumień, zlekceważeń, nieusłyszeń, zignorowań, niezauważeń, wkrętek, uników, porażek, upadków? Czy na karuzeli śmiechu Jonesom nie zrobi się niedobrze?
